Why does the social automation not have the ability to schedule posts for future dates?

We just recently turned on on social automation for our firm. Why is there not the ability to schedule posts in this feature? We are setting up our automation to send out three posts a week and we plan out a quarter at a time. With the current limitation, it means we need to log in three times a week when we have the entire quarter's content ready and in canvas already. I would really like to have the same schedule feature an advisor has if they were to pick individual social posts on their own. This way, my team could add the entire quarter's social posts and schedule them to go out for our subscribers vs having to touch the system so many times. Is there a way to turn this feature on?
