You should be able to import contacts designation of subscribed and unsubscribed. I am trying to import from another system and I want my unsubscribed email addresses imported so that they are not entered again from a new list. I imported 2200 contacts and 400 were unsubscribed. I had to delete them and start over since I didn't want to manually change them from subscribed to unsubscribed. This should be an easy change.
